What the beta records.

Effective July 16, 2026. This notice describes the hood.market beta and should be reviewed for each launch jurisdiction before public promotion.

Data we use

We process a Privy user identifier and linked wallet, login and session status, referral attribution, qualifying transaction identifiers, support messages, and bounded product events. For security and referral review we may use pseudonymous session, rate, timing, and referral-velocity signals. We do not persist raw device fingerprints.

Public onchain data

Your wallet address and market transaction events are recorded on a public blockchain. Blockchain records are independently replicated and generally cannot be deleted. Public leaderboards show a stable alias or masked wallet instead of your email or social identity.

Why we use it

We use data to operate Markets and referral points, verify completed trades, prevent duplicate or abusive attribution, troubleshoot reliability, measure activation and retention, comply with law, and answer support requests.

Sharing and retention

Service providers may process data for authentication, infrastructure, analytics, communications, and security. Offchain data is retained only as long as needed for these purposes, legal obligations, disputes, campaign administration, and abuse prevention.

Your choices

You can disconnect a wallet or ask about access, correction, or deletion of eligible offchain data by emailing privacy@hood.market. We cannot erase public blockchain records. The beta is not directed to children.
